Common Questions

Answers Before You Call

Every family's situation is unique. If you don't see your question, give us a call.

“I’m not sure where to start. Can I just talk to someone?”

Yes. Among other things, a will gives you the opportunity to designate who handles your affairs and where your belongings go. Without one, Texas law decides for you. That process can be costly and stressful for your family. Wills are especially important for blended families and families with children with disabilities.
Texas is one of the more probate-friendly states. A straightforward independent administration typically takes 6–12 months. More complex estates with disputes or creditor issues may take longer. We work to move as efficiently as possible.
We prepare and file your formation documents with the Texas Secretary of State, draft your corporate documents such as an operating agreement, and guide you through your initial organizational meeting and ongoing annual meeting requirements.
